At 3r3ctors we know that we would not be able to do the things we do without the men and women that serve this country. Unfortunately our veterans often end up homeless and suffering from addictions with no one to turn to for help, even though they gave everything they had for our freedom. Our owners have partnered with a humanitarian fund to tackle this issue and create a sustainable community at the same time.
Our mission for this project is to empower our veterans to become a leading force in the fight for a sustainable world by creating a model community that heals both the land and veterans. With the vision of a sustainable future, that is built for and by veterans. The hope is that this community project will become a model for the world to see that we can live in harmony with nature and the benefits that come from a healthy relationship with nature.
This project will create a “one stop shop” for helping the men and women who served our country. We will be creating housing for the veterans out of recycled storage containers, with solar panels on the roofs to provide sustainable power. The development will be located within walking distance of our manufacturing facility so we will be able to provide all of the veterans with jobs creating green houses for hundreds of other families across the nation. A nature rehabilitation center will be built on site for the veterans who need those services. This center will include sustainable farming areas as well as gardens, wildlife viewing areas, bird feeders, and guided fishing trips to the Little Red River.
This project will benefit many people and organizations with veterans being the priority by providing them housing, jobs, rehabilitation and mentorship. Sustainable green materials and solar energy will be utilized in the houses that they live in, as well as all the houses they will be building. They will learn how to support their local ecosystem by practicing sustainable farming. The plan is to designate areas that are specifically engineered to help native wildlife such as several species of butterflies, quail, and hummingbirds.
